The support is very limited to what you can find on the old support boards.

They also just a day or so ago shut down the NBS_ site that all the links on the support board were going to for NBS_Multiforums.

I have version 1.0.1 for NBS_
I have version 1.0.0 Beta for the AMFR Multi-Forums

AMFR Multi-Forum I can't find any support for at all. It used to be on http://www.alrub.com but that site has since vanished.

EDIT: I have to head out for a College interview in about 10 min.
So if I stop responding it's not due to a lack of interest its just that I have been called away from the computer for a while..

So is Jim I think or at least he was at one time.

So how did you solve the issue with the custom templates, and did you figure out how to use sub domains?
