Post subject: How do I add custom BBCode tags?

I'm looking to add some simple BBCode tags to my forum. Things such as centering a post, aligning it to the right, etc.

How do I go about doing this?

There is a mod that will give you just about all you could wish for in a single mod. Very much like the MS Word interface.
I have attached it.

## - Font Color (Dropdown Features New Colors, and Preview)
## - Justify Align
## - Left Align
## - Center Align
## - Right Align
## - Superscript
## - Subscript
## - Bold
## - Italic
## - Underline
## - Strikethrough
## - Text Fade (IE Only)
## - Text Gradient (IE Only)
## - Message Box Align Left (Traditional)
## - Message Box Align Right (Arabic, etc)
## - Marquee Down
## - Marquee Up
## - Marquee Left
## - Marquee Right
## - Code
## - Quote
## - Spoiler (User must click on link to review text within tags)
## - Hyperlink Wizard
## - Email Wizard
## - Include Webpage Wizard (Adds Iframe that displays page specified by user)
## - Image Wizard
## - Flash Wizard
## - Streaming Video Wizard
## - Streaming Audio Wizard
## - RAM Wizard (Real Media Audio)
## - Ordered List Wizard
## - Unordered List Wizard
## - Line Break
## - Remove BBCode (Removes all BBCode tags from selected text)
## - Close Tags (Closes remaining open tags)

Thanks, Jim! Actually, I think I've seen this before. The guys at FreeForums.org use it on their phpBB2 boards. To be honnest, I think it's a little complicated, it's hard getting used to it. icon_smile.gif

E gads I am using that one right now and I don't really like it much.. It's got a lot of stuff but when you don't want to use it for links or for images it becomes an annoyance. it always places the links and images at the bottom of the page and then you have to move them. I would rather use the img button by placing the url to the image where I want it and then highlighting the link and clicking the IMG button.

It does look pretty though.. icon_eek.gif
BTW the fade text function only works in IE.

Edit:
They call it advanced BBCode in FreeForums I think

It does however add the functions that Acaria is looking for and is one of the easiest of mods to install. It does in fact add just about every bbcode you could ever want all at one go.
I do not use it myself though - that screen shot is from a site I built with the intention of doing some hosting but gave it up as a bad idea.

Thank you, Jim!

That's exactly what I need! I'm sure if it's too annoying or bulky I can rearrange some stuff. :3

Thank you again!
