Post subject: [img]-links with spaces

Hi,

when adding an IMG with an URL with a space in the filename, the URL is not parsed, please see the attached screenshot. The first image is not shown, the second one is shown.

Is there a way to fix this? icon_redface.gif

Try using %20 instead of the space, see what happens

Spaces are not normally legal URL characters are they?

The problem is, the posts are inserted via RSS (FIND Input), so I have no influence on the content. I can only correct.

Hmm I dont know what mod you are using to do that, but there is a PHP function to do what you want urlencode()

Spaces are simply not legal URL charaters, no wonder phpBB wont parse them. Either you use a '_' in your link, or a %20 - the url entity for a space

The autor of the original site (from which I fetch the content via RSS) often posts images with spaces in the filenames. And I have no influence on that.

Maybe I can do something that converts spaces to %20! Thank you!
