I knew that you could get 750 emails out per hour. However, when you posted that, I thought I could've been thinking about somewhere else.

So I called in and asked to double-check. It was a very simple question, so I didn't bother writing anything down or making a whole scene about it.

Well, sorry for coming off as rude or contradictory. I was only trying to help.

That's cool - I was starting to freak thinking, how in the heck did I get in a fight with someone already, I just got here icon_eek.gif - lol

Check this out - This is exactly why I asked you this guy's name -

And I just called in and asked last night about the emails-per-hour. They said a typical account has 750/hr, but you can pay extra to get extra.

Guess what, I believe the guy said that to you, but he was lying 100%, (or just an idiot) -
You absolutely cannot "pay to get extra" -
You can create a ticket requesting a higher limit and if you give them good enough reasons, it could be raised, but you absolutely cannot pay extra to get it bumped up from 750 -

You call back, or IM a different guy tonight, and you'll get the truth this time, (hopefully) -

I called Bluehost 3 different times today, intent on asking 3 different people the same questions - they were all consistent with their answers -

Thanks Acaria, (and the others), I'm really glad we didn't get off on the wrong foot - icon_biggrin.gif

PS, I love the built in spell check, you guys gotta set me up with it - icon_biggrin.gif

There is a mod for phpBB2 out there called Mega Mail, replaceing the Massemail-function in the ACP.
It splits the emails in chunks and reloades the page, then sends the next chunk - all settings are done in the ACP.
I have been using that mod for years now and have had no problems also with the most restrictive hosts.

When using Mega Mail must you have the admin window open during the entire sendning until itīs complete or can you send and then log out directly?

You need to have the ACP open ... but IF you close it you can continue at a later time.
