I just noticed I can't move topics on my forum any more. It used to work...it is as if the page cannot be found by the browser (this only happens if mode=move but any other modes will serve the page). Could this be something to do with PHP5? I'm not sure if this worked since I upgraded.
UPDATE: I tried it with Firefox and the browser gives a better error message.

I wonder why this happens only with moving topics. It's since I enabled gzip compression. I disabled it and it works again.

I had a problem with phpBB2 years ago when I turned on gzip, and the modcp was the primary issue. Like you, I just turned it off since I didn't need to save the bandwidth and then forgot about it.
I never looked at it to see what the problem actually was... _________________ phpBBDoctor Blog

Interesting, because nothing shows up when using the screen normally.
That's because common.php screen out the notices. I program my site with everything showing, so I know right away what's wrong. But in my experience, this the formula for a white screen: gzip on + something being output too early _________________ Moof!
