Post subject: Viewtopic: how to link 1st post in a Topic with multi-pages?

Hello,
there's a behaviour I don't like in phpbb2 viewtopic page (but also present in phpbb 3!), involving the topic title url link in multi-page topics.

To explain better my problem let's take this phpbb2refugees forum as example and let's go to the page 13 of the following topic:
http://phpbb2refugees.com/viewtopic.php?t=203&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=180

As you can see, from that page, when you click over the big topic title link "The Final phpBB 2 Security Vulnerability" (above pagination), it just refresh the same page (13).
If you go to page 12... clicking on that link will just refresh the page 12... and so on!
Same behaviour in phpbb 3 icon_smile.gif It just brings you to the 1st post in the same page.

From my point of view instead, it would be more useful to bring the user to the FIRST page and 1st post of the Topic.

So...how to change the behaviour on the topic title URL in viewtopic, to bring always a user to the 1st post of the topic instead of refreshing the same page inside the pagination thread?

Thanks in advance for a possible answer and help!

from viewtopic_body.tpl:
Code:
<td align="left" valign="bottom" colspan="2"><a class="maintitle" href="{U_VIEW_TOPIC}">{TOPIC_TITLE}</a><br />

from viewtopic.php:
Code:
'U_VIEW_TOPIC' => append_sid("viewtopic.$phpEx?" . POST_TOPIC_URL . "=$topic_id&amp;start=$start&amp;postdays=$post_days&amp;postorder=$post_order&amp;highlight=$highlight"),

I have tried various changes myself but I can't get it to work icon_sad.gif
What should I change in order to be redirected always to the 1st page and the first post of the topic?

Change the "start" parameter to zero, and that would send you to page one all the time.
