Post subject: What features would you like here?

This question goes out to all MOD writers. icon_smile.gif At phpbb.com there were some limits as to what could be done with the board because they wanted to keep it as vanilla as possible. We are under no such restrictions here. I have a MOD Catalog that I've been working on for a while that I want to release here, probably not until next year however. In the meantime, what can be done to help MOD writers here?

For example, we already have Acyd Burn's attachment MOD installed and operational. We have it working with image thumbnails, so screen shots can (and probably should) be posted here. MOD install files (text or zipped) can also be attached. That means that MOD writers that don't have their own site can still use this site as the host of their "in development" MODs.

The MOD Releases forum will NOT be using the attachment MOD but will be using the MOD Catalog instead. There are a number of reasons for that which will become more obvious once the MC is released. That being said... what else can we do here that would make a MOD writers job easier?

Note that we will be sticking with the "classic" text template, as that was the format used for phpBB2. If MOD authors wish to provide a MODx format with their MODs they are welcome to do so, but it is not required.
