I've seen a lot of animosity against that Mod, and I wonder why. I've always found it to be a rather helpful Mod.

Is there a problem with the coding? Does it do something bad? Is it just personal opinion?

Please, give me your views on it. :3

What is the point of it?
How much time is saved by not having to click a "Reply" button?

I think it's the AJAX ones that I find the most effective.

Because then people only have to type and click "Submit", then see their post right there. Just seems like it could be time-saving for some people.

My idea is that not having a QR avoids that some people post without any thinking. icon_wink.gif QR makes over-impulsive posting very easy and likelier.

I feel that having to post in the traditional way might induce some people into thinking at least a bit before hitting submit. icon_razz.gif

Yes. It's on my site because the first major forum that I used to go to had a Quick Reply, so when I started my own forum, it had a Quick Reply too.

I don't care one way or another. It's not here because I've never found a QR MOD that I really liked (not that I looked too much) and never wrote one myself.

QR is one of the first things I install in new forums.
I hate all time-wasting stuff, like clicking on reply or those messages like "your message has been stored, click here and there to continue".

Just a personal thing!

I feel the same way. I fist install "Keep unread flags", then "Simple Subforums" and then "Super Quick Reply". icon_smile.gif
