I have talked to Douglas aka Fountain of Apples the co-host and founder of the phpBB Weekly podcast. It looks like I will get some "air time" on Saturday, Dec 3rd, to talk about the Refugees site and what we hope to accomplish here. Yay. _________________ phpBBDoctor Blog |

Dave did very well, it was a nice episode, I guess you can already listen to it through the archive on phpBBweekly. |

I don't see it on the archive page yet; it's episode #88. I generally wait for them to show up in iTunes and listen to them via my iPod.
The phpBB Weekly podcast host site is here: http://www.phpbbweekly.net
Douglas (webmacster87 aka Fountain of Apples) and David (Highway of Life) have done a great job at keeping the podcast going, especially given the agressive schedule of trying to do one every week. It takes a lot of effort to manage something like this, and I'm really glad they're doing it. _________________ phpBBDoctor Blog |

Yeah... I agree. I know my MODs have been mentioned atleast three times on it but I've only listened to one of the ones that mentioned my MOD. Honestly, I'm just not into podcasts all that much. |

I think podcasts are a great way to keep up with topics on your own schedule. I load them on my ipod and listen to them at my convenience.
[Edit] Douglas just sent me a direct link to the podcast. It's about an hour of talk about the Refugees site, and the last bits (about another 15 minutes) are the MOD and Style of the Week and general wrap-up bantering.

I don't normally sound like that, my voice was a bit rougher because of being sick. _________________ phpBBDoctor Blog |

Glad you thought so.
We kind of have a tendency to goof around a bit of the episodes and I'm always a little unsure whether or not that goes over well with the audience.

No kidding. But I appreciate getting to see and hear great feedback from people; that alone makes all of the effort totally worth it. _________________ Image link

It was great (and not just because my name was mentioned ). I had never listened to it before, but I'll be tuning in from now on. |

Correction: You fixed the form. C'mon Dave, I've been working with phpBB2 long enough that you better believe I already know how to upload an avatar on here... _________________ Image link
